Description

A gooey, cheesy sandwich filled with rich, seasoned ground beef and melting cheddar, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and golden.
  2. Add minced onions and garlic; cook until softened and fragrant, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Place shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture, allowing it to melt.
  4. Butter the bread slices generously on one side.
  5. Assemble the sandwich with beef and cheese between two slices of bread, buttered side out.
  6. Toast the sandwich on a skillet or griddle until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Cut the sandwich in half and serve warm.
