- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 slices bread
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and golden.
- Add minced onions and garlic; cook until softened and fragrant, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Place shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture, allowing it to melt.
- Butter the bread slices generously on one side.
- Assemble the sandwich with beef and cheese between two slices of bread, buttered side out.
- Toast the sandwich on a skillet or griddle until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve warm.
