Description

Delicious and comforting Tuna Patties, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties, about the size of your palm.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat to coat the bottom of the pan.
  5. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve warm, with a sprinkle of fresh herbs or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Make the mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it, then shape and fry when ready to eat.
