Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to form a flavorful sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Warm the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens.
  6. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until tender, then drain.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing well to combine.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
