Ingredients
- Steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Butter
- Garlic (minced)
- Bourbon
- Heavy cream
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
- Add the steak to the skillet and sear it on both sides for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Add the minced garlic into the same skillet and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the bourbon and let it reduce slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the steak against the grain and plate beautifully.
- Top each slice with the bourbon garlic cream sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Allow steak to rest before slicing to ensure juiciness. The sauce can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
