Description

A tender, juicy steak seared to perfection and drizzled with a rich, creamy bourbon garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • Steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Butter
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Bourbon
  • Heavy cream
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet and sear it on both sides for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Add the minced garlic into the same skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the bourbon and let it reduce slightly.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  8. Slice the steak against the grain and plate beautifully.
  9. Top each slice with the bourbon garlic cream sauce.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Allow steak to rest before slicing to ensure juiciness. The sauce can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
