- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, brown the Italian sausage with onions and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and tortellini to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 240-360 minutes or high for 120-180 minutes.
- Stir in the spinach and heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
