Description

A cozy and delicious grilled cheese sandwich filled with creamy cheese and roasted jalapenos, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, roasted and chopped
  • 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • Butter for spreading
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices.
  4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped roasted jalapenos.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Place the other slices of bread on top, buttered side up.
  7. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the skillet, cut in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to prepare the fillings in advance and store in an airtight container for 1-2 days. Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
