- 4 slices of bread
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapenos, roasted and chopped
- 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
- Butter for spreading
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped roasted jalapenos.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the other slices of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet, cut in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to prepare the fillings in advance and store in an airtight container for 1-2 days. Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
