Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. Beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chunks.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
