Description

A creamy, cheesy pasta bake that combines classic Italian flavors for a comforting meal, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (about 24 ounces)
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat until it’s nicely cooked. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until aromatic.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes to let the flavors meld beautifully.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, half of the sausage mixture, and half of the shredded mozzarella.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients for a delightful, cheesy finish!
  7. Top everything off with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. After that, uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden on top.
  9. Let it cool slightly, garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color, and serve warm.
