Description

A creamy and dreamy no-bake dessert that brings comfort and nostalgia, perfect for gatherings or quiet evenings at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 package (5.1 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 box (11 oz) Nilla wafers
  • Optional: additional bananas for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth and let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Layer half of the Nilla wafers on the bottom of a large serving dish, followed by slices of banana.
  3. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas, coating them.
  4. Repeat the layers with more Nilla wafers, banana slices, and the rest of the pudding.
  5. Top with the whipped topping, spreading it over the dessert.
  6. Garnish with additional banana slices if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving to allow it to set properly.

Notes

Slice bananas just before layering to prevent browning. This dessert tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld.
