A tropical escape on your plate, this Hawaiian Turn Turn Chicken pairs sweet pineapple juice and soy sauce with grilled chicken for a flavorful summer dish.

- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together pineapple juice, soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken in a resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
Notes
For added flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Serve with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
