Description

A cozy family favorite, this Ham and Tater Tot Casserole combines crispy tater tots, savory ham, and melted cheese for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 (32 oz) bag of frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 cup of mixed vegetables (peas, corn, or broccoli)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the diced ham, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and mixed vegetables (if using) in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
  3. Spread the ham mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the ham mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the tater tots.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
