- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and the egg in a large bowl.
- Mix until well combined, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are beautifully browned and cooked through.
- Heat the marinara sauce over medium heat in a large skillet, letting it bubble gently.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce, allowing them to simmer for 10 more minutes.
- Serve with spaghetti or in sandwiches for a flavor-packed meal.
Notes
