- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tablespoons strawberry juice or milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk in another bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just blended, then gently fold in the diced strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Mix the powdered sugar with strawberry juice or milk for the glaze until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread in a zigzag pattern.
