Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add the vanilla.
  5. Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Form the dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
  8. Place the sugar-coated balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are set but centers are still soft.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
