Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 slices Gruyere cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then shape it into burger patties.
  3. Grill or cook the patties until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. Melt the butter in a separate pan and add sliced onions. Cook over medium heat until the onions are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Place cheese slices on top of the burgers during the last few minutes of cooking to melt.
