A comforting recipe for sliders filled with ham and cheese, topped with a buttery glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 12 soft Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices of ham
- 12 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the ham and cheese evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back on the sandwiches.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls, allowing it to soak in.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm, preferably alongside an Italian chopped salad.
Notes
You can assemble the sliders up to a few hours in advance and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to bake. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
