Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then add the marinated chicken. Cook until browned.
  3. Toss in the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir until softened.
  4. Combine black pepper, oyster sauce, sugar, and chicken broth in a bowl, then pour the sauce into the pan.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  6. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
