Description

A comforting and creamy breakfast casserole that combines hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, and sour cream for a nostalgic start to your day.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: diced bell peppers or turkey sausage

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onions, and melted butter in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fold in the diced bell peppers or turkey sausage if using, for an extra pop of flavor.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
