- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Optional: walnuts or chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the honey and vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle in the baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix well until incorporated.
- Add the flour, mixing until just combined. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, leveling the surface.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to four days or freeze for later enjoyment.
