Description

A warm and comforting banana bread sweetened with honey, perfect for breakfast or as an afternoon treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Optional: walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the honey and vanilla extract.
  4. Sprinkle in the baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix well until incorporated.
  5. Add the flour, mixing until just combined. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, leveling the surface.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to four days or freeze for later enjoyment.
