Description

Delightful and customizable cheesy rice balls, perfect for snacking and family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1/2 cup ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup sweet peas
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the cooked rice, mozzarella cheese, ham, sweet peas, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined and cohesive.
  3. Shape a handful of the mixture into a ball about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  6. Fry the rice balls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
