Description

A comforting and easy weeknight meal featuring tender chicken thighs marinated in a rich blend of bourbon, soy sauce, and brown sugar, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, covering them thoroughly, and let meld in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place it on the griddle.
  5. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through and charred.
  6. Remove the chicken from the griddle and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Great as leftovers in salads or wraps!
