Description

Warm and delightful apple pie bites, perfect for cozy fall evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss together the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut them into circles.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Carefully fold the crust over the apple filling and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle sugar on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

You can prepare the apple filling a day before and store it in the fridge. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
