Description

A creamy fall dessert featuring layers of buttery graham cracker crust, rich cream cheese filling, and tender apples, perfect for Thanksgiving or cozy gatherings.

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional: Whipped cream for serving
  • Optional: Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your crust. In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated and hold together like wet sand.
  2. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch glass dish to form a solid crust. Make sure to pack it really well to hold its shape.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, blending until creamy and fluffy.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon, allowing the sweet apple mixture to fold seamlessly into your fluffy, cream cheese base.
  5. Spread the apple mixture evenly over your graham cracker crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 240 minutes (or overnight if you can wait!).
  7. When you’re ready to serve, slice into squares and top with whipped cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce if you’re feeling indulgent.
