Description

A creamy and refreshing tuna pasta salad that’s quick, easy, and perfect for family gatherings or a breezy lunch.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces small shells pasta
  • 7 ounces canned albacore white tuna, packed in water (drained)
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • Dried dill weed (to taste, optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the small shells pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped celery, red onion, frozen peas, cooked pasta, and drained tuna.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir half of the creamy sauce into the pasta mixture, tossing to ensure every bite gets that delicious coating. Season with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of dried dill weed to taste.
  5. Cover the pasta salad and refrigerate it along with the remaining sauce for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  6. When you’re ready to serve, stir in the remaining sauce, and enjoy your delightful Tuna Pasta Salad!
