Description

Warm, cozy delights made from flaky croissant dough coated in cinnamon sugar. Perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of croissant dough
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons of butter (for brushing)
  • Optional filling (e.g., chocolate, cream cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough onto a lightly floured surface, and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of your desired filling in the center of each square, then fold and shape the dough into a muffin form.
  4. Brush each cruffin generously with melted butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and ground cinnamon together.
  7. Once baked, while they’re still warm, roll each cruffin in the cinnamon sugar mixture until they’re completely coated.
  8. Let them cool slightly before serving.
