- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a crockpot, laying them flat without overlapping.
- In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender enough to shred.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce using two forks, mixing everything together for ultimate flavor. Enjoy!
