Description

A creamy and zesty soup that combines shredded chicken, jalapeños, and cheese for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup jalapeños, diced (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the diced jalapeños and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Mix well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Season with chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
