Description

A comforting blend of crispy turkey bacon and tender cabbage, perfect for a cozy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 4 strips of turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the chopped turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove the bacon bits from the skillet and set them aside, leaving the grease.
  3. Add the diced onion to the hot skillet and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage and combine well with the onions and turkey bacon grease.
  5. Cook the cabbage until tender, about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, topped with the crispy turkey bacon bits.

Notes

Feel free to add red pepper flakes for a kick or stir in a splash of cream for extra indulgence.
