Description

Deliciously soft and chewy peanut butter cookies that are perfect for family gatherings or cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup White Sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  1. Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, peanut butter, and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  3. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl until evenly mixed.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for about one hour.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Roll 1-1/2 tablespoons of dough into a ball and place on the baking sheet; gently press down with a fork.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  9. Transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack and enjoy the aroma!
