- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground beef (or turkey) into the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks until browned.
- Layer a few cabbage leaves at the bottom of the slow cooker, followed by the meat mixture, rice, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
- Drizzle with Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cabbage and sauce on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes (6-8 hours) or high for 180-240 minutes (3-4 hours).
- Serve warm and enjoy!
