- 1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a slow cooker and add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the chicken thighs, tomato puree, heavy cream, and spices to the slow cooker.
- Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to blend everything before serving.
- Serve over rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Notes
