- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin (optional)
- 1 pound Chicken Tenders
- Fresh Parsley or Dill (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and ground cumin. Stir until smooth.
- Place chicken tenders in a resealable plastic bag or a bowl.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken and coat generously. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably a few hours.
- Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat for grilling or 400°F for baking.
- For grilling, cook chicken on the grill for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- For baking, spread chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Let the tenders rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.
Notes
Marinate ahead of time for deeper flavor. Storage: leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
