Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 package lemon pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a resealable bag and smashing them with a rolling pin until fine.
  2. Mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter and press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form a sturdy crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Blend in the whipped topping, lemon juice, and lemon zest until fully combined and fluffy.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled Oreo crust.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk until it thickens to a lovely, silky consistency.
  7. Pour this over the cream cheese layer and gently spread it out to ensure it covers all corners.
  8. Cover your dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until fully set.
