Description

Experience a taste of paradise with this Grilled Aloha Chicken marinated in a sweet and savory blend of pineapple juice and soy sauce, perfect for summer evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Pineapple rings (for grilling)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create a delightful marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag tightly and let the chicken marinade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and brush it lightly with vegetable oil.
  6. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  7. Place the pineapple rings on the grill during the last few minutes of cooking.
  8. Serve the grilled chicken topped with grilled pineapple rings and chopped green onions.

Notes

Marinate the chicken a day in advance for even more flavor. Substitute orange juice for pineapple juice if needed.
