Description
A quick and easy 15-minute recipe featuring tender steak bites and zucchini, all tossed in rich garlic butter for a flavor explosion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the seasoned steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side until beautifully browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter. Once melted, toss in the minced garlic and cook for approximately 30 seconds, or until fragrant and golden.
- Stir in the zucchini, cooking for about 3-5 minutes until it’s tender-crisp and bright green.
- Return the perfectly seared steak bites back to the skillet. Toss everything together so those glorious garlic butter flavors coat every piece.
- Allow this medley to cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the steak is heated through.
- For a pop of color and flavor, garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the smiles around the table!
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the steak bites before cooking, and feel free to experiment with different veggies or spices.
