Description

A cozy twist on a classic grilled cheese sandwich combining creamy cheese and buttery, garlicky bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of bread (your favorite type)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices butter-side down in a heated skillet and scatter half the cheese blend on each slice.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, and gently press down.
  5. Heat your skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the pan, slice the sandwiches in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy crust, use a mix of butter and olive oil for frying. Cover the skillet with a lid for a gooey center.
