Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Burger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.
  • Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat, letting it warm up nicely for that perfect sear.
  2. Divide the ground beef into equal portions and form them into loose balls—don’t overwork the meat!
  3. Place the meatballs on the griddle, then use a spatula to smash them down into thin patties.
  4. Season each patty generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden crust develops, then flip and add cheese slices if desired.
  6. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Toast the burger buns on the griddle until golden.
  8. Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
