Description

Deliciously unique burgers made with buttery croissants and juicy beef patties, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large, buttery croissants
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • Your favorite condiments (mayonnaise, mustard, or ketchup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the croissants in half lengthwise.
  3. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions, shaping them into patties about 1 inch thick, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the patties in the hot skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes until a crust forms.
  5. Gently smash each patty down with a spatula and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on the patties just before they’re done cooking to melt.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the croissant bottoms, adding avocado and spinach, and your favorite condiments.
  8. Cap with the croissant tops and serve warm.
