Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and trim the green beans, then pat them dry.
  3. In a bowl, mix green beans with olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
  4. Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 15-20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  6. Once done, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot beans and toss gently.
  7. Optionally drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
