Description

Delicate cucumber sandwiches perfect for tea parties or cozy snacks, bursting with fresh flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup cream cheese (whipped)
  • ¼ cup sour cream (or mayonnaise)
  • 2 tablespoons dill (finely chopped)
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • ½ English cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 8 slices sandwich bread (crusts removed)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the cream cheese, sour cream (or mayo), chopped dill, and pinch of kosher salt in a medium bowl until smooth.
  2. Spread the creamy mixture generously over one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place a layer of thinly sliced cucumber on top of the cream cheese spread, slightly overlapping the slices.
  4. Gently place the other slices of bread on top, spread side down, and press gently to close the sandwiches.
  5. Trim off the crusts with a serrated knife for a dainty look.
  6. Cut each sandwich into four small pieces—rectangles or triangles.
  7. Arrange the sandwiches on a serving dish, garnishing with additional slices of cucumber or a sprinkle of dill.
