  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine the melted butter with the mashed bananas in a mixing bowl, creating a creamy, sweet base.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and pinch of salt, letting the flavors meld.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; mix well until the mixture is smooth and inviting.
  5. Fold in the flour until just incorporated, taking care not to overmix. The batter should be lusciously thick.
  6. Mix the ground cinnamon and 1/4 cup of sugar for the swirl.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle generously with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Carefully pour the remaining batter over this layer and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar blend.
  9. Swirl gently through the batter with a knife to create beautiful, marbled patterns.
