- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and continue to cook until golden brown, stirring constantly.
- Combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until well blended.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an even chewier cookie, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
