Description

A comforting sandwich featuring layers of melty cheddar, crispy turkey bacon, and tender turkey nestled between golden, buttery sourdough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces turkey breast
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of turkey bacon
  • Butter for grilling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the turkey breast, crispy turkey bacon, and cheddar cheese. Top with the second slice of bread, unbuttered side down.
  4. Grill the sandwich in the skillet over medium heat, pressing down with a spatula. Cook until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm.

Notes

Can be customized with toppings like avocado or veggies. Prepare bacon in advance for a quicker meal.
