Description

Delightful tarts filled with sweet caramelized onions and creamy goat cheese, perfect for cozy evenings or entertaining friends.


Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, about 20-25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares or circles.
  4. Place the pastry pieces on a baking sheet. Top with caramelized onions and crumbled goat cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
