Description

A comforting twist on a classic Big Mac, this pasta salad combines savory beef, crisp lettuce, and creamy sauce for a delightful dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (e.g., elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked beef, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and cheese.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss to combine.
  6. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make this dish ahead of time for deeper flavor! Substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter option.
