Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until well incorporated.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the oats and chocolate chips gently.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
