Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Slowly add the warm water and vegetable oil, kneading until a soft dough forms. Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour.
- In another bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and green onions. Mix well.
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into small pieces. Flatten each piece and place a spoonful of beef filling in the center. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Prepare your steamer and place the buns in a single layer. Steam for 15-20 minutes until fluffy and cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Make the filling a day ahead to enhance flavors! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Re-steam to enjoy them fluffy again.
