- 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese or Cheez Whiz
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
Instructions
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat.
- Add olive oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the griddle and set aside.
- Add the thinly sliced steak to the griddle, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the sautéed onions and peppers back on the griddle with the steak.
- Top each portion of steak with cheese and let it melt.
- Spoon the mixture into hoagie rolls and serve hot.
Notes
Slice your steak, onions, and peppers ahead of time to streamline your cooking process. For easier slicing, freeze the sirloin for 30 minutes before cutting.
