Description

A comforting and vibrant dish featuring crisp tender broccoli and smoky flavors from crispy turkey bacon, ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add the vegetable oil to the skillet and increase the heat to high. Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing to coat the broccoli evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot, topped with crispy turkey bacon and a sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead by prepping broccoli and bacon in advance. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
